This event is part of an event series „Fachbereichskolloquium“.

Throughout the evolution of human-computer interfaces, from keyboards and mice to touchscreens
and 3D gestures, most interfaces have been designed primarily for hand-based interaction.
Recently, however, new interfaces that incorporate both eye and hand input have emerged,
particularly in Virtual Reality (VR) headsets, offering an experience unlike anything seen before in
the history of computing. In this talk, I will explore the evolution and scientific foundations of eye-
hand interaction, along with recent advances and their potential impact on the future of human-
computer interaction (HCI).
