Several consortia within the NFDI work with biomedical and health data. In order to further exploit potential synergies in this field and to contribute further to NFDI, we are organising a cross-consortium workshop on biomedical research data management (RDM). This workshop aims to bring together experts from various NFDI consortia to share knowledge, discuss challenges, and identify opportunities for collaboration. It is jointly organised by NFDI4Bioimage, NFDI4Health, NFDI4Immuno, NFDI4Microbiota and GHGA.

The workshop will focus on:

• Gaining a comprehensive overview of RDM solutions for biomedical research within the NFDI.
• Learning from and discussing specific use cases from different consortia.
• Identifying areas of synergy for collaborative efforts in biomedical RDM.
• Developing ways for further collaboration within the NFDI

Please Register: We encourage you to contribute your expertise and insights to this important discussion and ask you to register latest by October 20, 2024.  
The workshop is primarily aimed at participants from the organising consortia but members of other consortia with an interest in RDM for biomedical data are very welcome to participate. As spaces for participation are limited, confirmation of participation will be sent out by the end of October. 

Call for Use Cases: During the workshop, cross-consortia use cases will be discussed and in a Barcamp. To prepare this, all participants are invited to submit uses cases. Please find further details here.
